Festive nails with Essie "A Cut Above"

Essie nail polishes have never failed me and I have found are quick drying, excellent colour transfer and come in attractive bottles. I've done a festive look using "A Cut Above" by Essie. It is a gorgeous dusty pink glitter; and it is packed full of glitter! This polish definitely isn't lacking as some glitter polishes can be..

I used Rimmel London's "Nail nurse" for a base and top coat and L.A colours "Pearl" shade for a first base of colour. I used two coats of "Pearl" and three of the Essie polish because I wanted a super sparkly effect!

This look is perfect for Christmas or NYE, try it out and comment below!

Three festive favourites this Christmas

Top left; melting snowman bath melt from Lush
Bottom left; festive deer socks from Topshop
Far right; vanilla chai medium jar from Yankee Candle

You can't get much cosier than having a bath on a winters evening followed by reading in bed with a luxurious Christmas scented candle burning away. I am loving and always have adored Christmas, spice scents and Yankee candle have made my winter this year with their Vanilla Chai scent. Its definitely worth a sniff and if you love spicy sweet scents as much as I do, you'll be snapping one up as quick as I did!

Lush never fail to disappoint during the festive season with their limited edition, deliciously scented bath products. There are tons of gorgeous creations this year and their Melting Snowman Bath Melt is to die for. Again a gorgeous Christmas scent containing cinnamon, clove, patchouli and orange oils. This little fella also turns your bath water silky smooth and as he's also packed full of cocoa butter is a brilliant "in the bath" moisturiser!

Last but not least, cute socks from one of my number one favourite stores in the UK.. super cute christmas jumper deer socks! What more can I say, I think these festive little numbers speak for themselves!

Only 9 sleeps until christmas!

Company magazine and New Look Christmas party

I am an avid reader of Company magazine, so when I read that they were holding an exclusive Christmas party I was the first to grab a ticket. Me and a friend decided to go along despite the cold weather and we had a brilliant evening. I thought I'd share some photos and my opinion of this Christmas party collab.

We had some amazing Malibu cocktails courtesy of Company mag and while my friend had her make up done upstairs I was treated to some festive nail art. There was live music from Findlay and Chloe howl and a photo booth for a few laughs. All in all a chilled out good evening with brilliant company and a generous goodie bag to take home at the end! Watch the Xmas #partyhangout here and keep an eye out next year to see if you can join the next Christmas party!

Santa's scrub by Lush

Christmas is creeping closer and I was lucky enough to receive from a friend a HUGE gift box from the Lush Cosmetics company. It's choc full of all their limited edition christmas goodies and I'm going to try them out and let you guys in on my favourites.

First up, Santa's Scrub. This festive little number is a cute little jar packed full of sugar and sweetness to scrub your lips with; it's also edible! The taste is supposed to be cola, with cherry and date essence. It definitely has a cherry cola taste and is perfect for those with a sweet tooth this winter.

It definitely leaves your lips feeling super soft and moisturised which as all is girls know, is super important during this chilly windy weather as I for one have noticed my lips dying for moisture throughout the day.

The top of the scrub is glittery and sprinkled with tiny red hearts to match it's bright jolly red colour. Super super cute and PERFECT for a late secret Santa gift as it retails for only £5.50 and would last ages!
